It is difficult to get back into the way of taking pictures every day - I posted almost nothing while I was away and will now pay the price as I try to catch up.

By trying to sneak a picture of this man (one of a group of known eccentrics from my neighbourhood, who wears a (sadly difficult to see) top hat), I have ended up with almost Monet-esque trees. I am sure that I couldn't recreate this effect if I tried for a hundred years.
