Dull view from Beeston Castle

I was hoping for some great views and shots of my destination today but the weather let me down.

I took my dad to Beeston Castle in Cheshire. There isn't much left of the castle now but the views from there are far reaching - with good visibility - which we didn't get today! The cloud and murk gave us only a few miles of view into the distance. So we may need to come back on a brighter day.

This is the view from the entrance/exit to the inner part of the castle grounds. The walkway seems to disappear as it's quite a steep drop.

Still, we had a very nice pub lunch too.
