I was playing with a camera loaned to me when I spotted a spider in my front garden. As I moved forward to get a shot I bumped into this beast!

The common garden spider Araneus diadematus is getting a lot of blip coverage at the moment.

I was using a 50mm prime lens fitted with a 22mm tube extension.
