Flowers by Loch Venachar
Low, dark and still were the waters of Loch Venachar today. I walked on what would be the floor of the loch, from the sailing club to the old dam at the east end. This dam has been an impressive structure at one time although now fallen into disrepair.
Nearby I came across this scattering of flowers, shining brightly in the steely grey of the afternoon. On a tree was pinned a card with the words
" John James
you are in my
every day, every
Who, I wonder was John James? Husband, brother, son or boyfriend?
And are the flowers and words for the same person? I'd like to think they are.
