Fox Talbot

In this room, in Lacock Abbey, William Henry Fox Talbot developed the technology that created the world's first photographic negative. An interesting guy and a pleasant walk around the house and grounds. My favourite piece of information was that he was inspired to create a method of making permanent recordings of light and shade because he couldn't draw very well.
