Ivy Begone!

I didn't do any walking today but I did spend a gruelling four hours removing a mass of overgrown ivy from this wall in our back garden.

We need to have a smaller wall rebuilt in front of it now to make some raised beds. I'm hoping to try growing some vegetables next year :)

I'm also planning to paint the high wall and decorate it with some new tiles and plates. Another project!

Our new neighbours came over to introduce themselves when I was outside. That was a nice added bonus. They seem like a lovely couple :)
