A plant called Basil and a very large tin

My mum bought me this tin of tomatoes: it was only £1 in Asda, and she thought it was 'cute'. I have placed it handily next to an ordinary tin, for perspective. We also had a shitload of basil so I made the world's biggest vat of tomato sauce, and have spent the week using it up. So far I have made: pizza; spinach and ricotta cannelloni; enchiladas; pasta with tomato sauce and meatballs. And there's still some left. I feel like I should be writing a book called Siobhan's Budget Dinners - how many recipes can you make with one tin of tomatoes.
