Back to the Future

I took the tripod outside to try some night shots for the first time. Shot some of the moon but they were a bit boring so tried for some light trails for the September Technique Challenge. Not many cars drive along our street at this time of night so it was slow going.
This image reminds me of the scene from Back to The Future when the Delorean disappears into the night - but without the flames. The light trail is cut because the exposure ended before the car had passed by. I had pushed the shutter a little too early. I got some better ones later but this one made me smile.
