There has been carpet fitting in our stairwell today.

The carpet has been screwed into the stone of the stairs and landings in order to secure it. On my way back from watering our upstairs neighbour's plants, I couldn't help but notice that, on their landing, the carpet is not entirely smooth.

Oh well.

In other news, I keep hearing about Zillertal and how brilliant it is. Maybe we should go.

Friday already......at least it will be tomorrow.

(The picture is of my bike light, which I knocked off a ledge onto a tiled floor during our holiday. (Maybe you can see the crack - it's on the left hand side.) It still works, so crisis averted; at least until my next two-wheeled night time excursion in the rain.)
