Where's the Carrots?

These two lovely donkeys have been rescued and are now enjoying their retirement in a field opposite the holiday cottage we are staying in.

Some of the village children bring them carrots , so they always come over to say hello if you stop by and they take a great interest in local 'goings on'. They are quite vocal too, especially early in the morning!
