The House in the Middle

It was a work day for me (Annie) in Halifax today. It was good to be on the 4th floor, looking out of the windows at the beautiful countryside around.

On the way home I popped in to see a friend who's been a bit under the weather recently. Expecting to go for a simple cuppa and provide some sympathy, I was greeted with a full on afternoon tea spread. I felt very special.

Close by there is an area where you can look across to the M62. One of my favourite bits of it is where the carriageways part enough to fit a farmhouse in between. Those lorries must make the windows rattle! Crazy mad.
