Isle of Sheppey tour bus.

Had a run out to see an old friend over onto the Isle of Sheppey. Whilst out on the bikes so he could show me the delights of his homeland we spotted this.
This bus was built November 1946, it's a AEC Regal chassis with a six cylinder diesel engine with a Beadle B36F coachbuilt body. It's been in continuous service for 68 years! Originally a Hastings town bus before being passed down to smaller operators during rhe late 60's before becoming part of an historic fleet in the 80's.
It's a popular bus and beautifully looked after.
