Home to Roost

I called in at Gretna service station tonight on the M74 and couldn't choose which picture to upload between the sunset and the starlings. There are a million of them swarming into the trees and it is breathtaking. I took loads of pictures and just couldn't decide. Some blips show the vast number of starlings but I settled on this one it shows the sunset and the edge of the murmation.
If you get the chance it is well worth the visit on an evening to Gretna to witness this phenomenon.
