Isar Impressions .....

Today was the 'IsarInselFest' - a festival of the 'islands' of the river 'Isar' that runs through Munich ...... I could have given you pictures of people celebrating along the river...... of a samba group performing at one of the stages......a artificial beach with lawn chairs...... a clown making weird balloon thingies (so utterly creepy) ...... but I really liked this guy who was lying at the bank of the river for quite a time, then decided to duck into the river, emerge again and 'scrape' himself clean...... regardless of who was watching and looking ...... right under one of the bridges........ actually it was quite magical.....
