City Games, Newcastle-Gateshead

I've been looking forward to these games for some time having missed them the last two years. The quayside was really busy but we were lucky to find a spot close to the track and close to the start line for the shorter distance events and had a great view of the athletes. The atmosphere was fantastic and the athletes were clearly enjoying themselves.
