Lord of the greenhouse

This spider has produced a web across the centre of our greenhouse every day this week. Every day I remove it, and every day it re-appears. I don't like spiders but would never harm one especially as they make such splendid close up subjects!

I recently bought a set of close up tubes for my NEX7. They are fully coupled and are giving excellent results with the 50mm f/1.8 Sony lens and an LED ring light. View large to see the reflection of the ring light in the spider's eyes.
