Tribute to Oscar

Oscar died today. The death of this shy Manx cat was sudden and unexpected and left my brother (his owner) heartbroken. Since the Blip rule is that I can only post a photo taken today, I had to use a photo of a photo.

We bond with our pets--some more than others--and when we lose them, it seems to leave a hole in our heart. Anyone who has bonded with a pet and lost it knows that feeling. My brother is alone and hurting, so I'm hurting too.
