This afternoon we enjoyed a delicious BBQ at Loosecanon and Technophobe’s home, along with some more friends who all live locally. The sun shone and the wine flowed. What more could you ask of a Sunday afternoon?

Afterwards, Nikonabike and I went for a walk with Hector and Ziggy. As we walked through the churchyard, the sun was still shining, but this time onto a lion gargoyle high up on the church tower.
The church originated in the 13th century, however a lot of restoration work was done in the 1830’s. I have no idea how old this gargoyle is, but I think he’s very handsome.
