Lamborghini Reflections

Today our Mackintosh Tour finished with an external tour of the Mackintosh Building at the Glasgow School of Art, we then popped over to Blythswood Square to view the entrance of the Lady Artists' Club which was designed by Mackintosh.

We then made our way over to Kelvingrove Art Gallery to view the Mackintosh and Glasgow Style Gallery. After lunch and some time exploring the gallery we headed back into town to have tea and scones at the Willow Tea Rooms.

On the way back to Central Station I came across this beautiful Lamborghini. Unfortunately it was not my transport home.

Lamborghini was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963 with the objective of competing with Ferrari. Lamborghini gained international acclaim in the 60’s for the Muira and after hard times starting from the mid 1970’s to filing for bankruptcy and three changes in ownership, Lamborghini came under Chrysler 1987. The company was eventually sold to Audi in 1998 and it has started to witness success under Volkswagen.

Many thanks for your stars and hearts yesterday to keep Life And Times in the Spotlight most of the day.
