A sunny day out By Yon Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond is supposed to be peaceful and then we turn up with our two boys.

From the minute we got in the car to travel the 30 minutes or so to Balmaha they started to play up and when we arrived at the famous loch their mood didn't improve much.

We had to abandon our planned walk and the visit in total didn't last as long as we had hoped.

We did however have a nice lunch at the Oak Tree Inn where the boys were reasonably behaved which I suppose was a plus point as it's usually over eating a meal out that they are at their worst.

And breath as it will soon be Monday and work ;-)
