Approaching sunset, Take 1.

Sunrises and sunsets seem to be to photography what producing a good "Body and Soul" is to playing tenor sax. There are just so many fantastic versions out there that it's hard to be satisfied in any way with unpractised first attempts, and they are such universal images/standards that it's hard to resist trying until further up the skills curve. But everyone has to start somewhere, so here is my marker in the ground. Hopefully I can look back in years to come and reflect upon how much my photography has improved. Getting the horizon straight would be a good start.
