New Moon

We had friends over for a picnic lunch today and stayed in the garden, in short sleeves, until long after 9 p.m. Watching the moon rise was wonderful. Sadly, I only had my 50 m lens with me and no tripod so couldn't really do it justice.

For someone who has lived without a garden for over 5 years, sitting outdoors in un-seasonally warm weather until nightfall is something that I will never take for granted.
