Birthday Poster

So the tradition in Emma's class is to create a life size poster for each kid on their birthday. The child first lies down on a huge piece of paper and their outline is draw. Then the teacher draws in the detail base on what was worn that day. (This one of Emma is pretty accurate.) After that she writes the (good) things that the class mates say about the birthday person and then everyone signs it. Very cute.

My plan was to blip the poster with Emma standing beside it so you can see that it's life sized. But as it happens Emma was at another birthday party today where there was a great magic show and she came home with party favours of a magician's hat, wand and some tricks. For the rest of the day she's been completely magic crazy. Needless to say she did some great poses for by blip with her new hat and wand.

There were better and more fun poses than this one but this one reminds me of the intro to the "Here's Lucy" show.

Kim also got the art work for the school auction framed and it looks briiliant!
