Beautyberry At Water's Edge

For two rainy days, I've been imagining what frogs might look like on lily pads, enjoying the raindrops...

So today, during a time of light sprinkles, I ventured to the pond... and saw no frogs! Where did they all go? Down in the mud, I guess.

Perhaps one is hiding under the beautyberry bush at the edge of the pond.
