Men With Coconuts

Ah, how wonderful it is to be a tourist in Edinburgh in August!
We began our day by viewing and photographing the city from The Scott Monument. I love to go up in old high towers and see how everything looks different from above. Daníel decided to wait for me and Kári while we climbed the 287 steps to the top.
After we'd "landed" again, we walked along Princes Street and also had a look at The Book Festival in Charlotte Square Gardens. Lots to see - we love browsing in bookstores so this was really fun. We also walked through Rose Street and had a great sandwich from "Pig in a Poke".
In the afternoon we spent our time in Scottish National Gallery before going to see two Free Fringe-shows.
The photo was taken during the first one. It was the Impro FX: Men With Coconuts at the Sportsters Bar. This show was an improvisation where the audience was supposed to participate and give ideas and clues for what to do next.
The second was "Are You Better Than An American?" at the Opium, a kind of "game show, again with audience participation.
Great fun!
