Day of the Triffids (365 mono #020)

It is actually a dried up sunflower, but it does look quite sinister - perhaps more in a Little Shop of Horrors kind of way!

I almost considered a Blip of the moon, which is very bright and yellow this evening, but it seemed to be a bit pointless - what with me being on monochrome project and the moon being bright yellow and all!

Talking on sunflowers. Our sunflowers were terrible this year. Massacred by black fly and pathetic little flowers. Very disappointing.
