Big Red Bus

Today we received a bit of a curve ball as the hotel told us it would be a day of rain. So we had planned to batten down the hatches and play Yahtzee or Scrabble all day. However we woke up to another morning of glorious sunshine so we reverted to a hasty plan B which was a Red bus tour along the coast to Lisbon and back.

It was not the most interesting of red bus tours we have ever been on but we jumped out in Lisbon had some lunch and headed back.

This selfi of us is a reflection on the glass cladding of the Estoril Casino. Apparently this casino was the basis of the James Bond, Casino Royale story as in the war Portugal was neutral and was awash with spies who all met secretly here. Although given this building has had the worst 70's make over ever all that James bond stuff is hard to imagine.
