Vancouver Island

We have now left the hustle and bustle of Vancouver and crossed over to the island. We are making our way to the Pacific coast and Tofino. The road across Vancouver Island winds its way through deep mountain passes, crossing and re-crossing many rivers. This pic is of the Taylor River. The water is unbelievably clear. In places it is like looking through glass. For those who think that Canada is a land of snow and ice, the temperature by this river was 32 degrees.
