Off the Leish

Jim Leishman, Lord Provost of Fife unveiling a a plaque in the woods at Dunfermline Public Park today. The wood has been revamped thanks to various partners working together and is now used as a learning resource by the two schools that it borders with. It's a brilliant place for kids to run about in and it's good to see it getting recognition from the great and the god of Dunfermline. Normally, those in office can be quite distant and can be quite boring. Not this one. When the ceremony was over, and everyone had had some tea and biscuits, the school classroom assistant started to round up the kids , only to be greeted with loud calls of 'bos' and 'shame' from the Provost himself!
