Chasing the dragon

A trip into Manchester for Chinese New Year today after lunch with Carol and Eric Trueman in a pub straight out of a Thomas Hardy novel.

I got chatting to the pyrotechnicians before this performance started. The letting off of firecrackers wards off the devil, however health and safety require them to be contained inside a metal cage.
