No Longer Required

This is the clock tower and gantry of the Carlton Buildings (on the right), Hebden Bridge.
The Carlton Building is now apartments (Carlton Chambers) with shops at ground level. The gantry served as a fire escape when the top floor was used as the Carlton Ballroom.
As it is no longer required the floor of the walkway has been removed.
I hope they leave the rest in place - it's a nice little bit of history :-)
