Dear Alex and family,
Thank you for organising tonight's fish barbecue and inviting me.... I'd had a really crappy day, self induced from silly incidents that triggered a tremendous melancholy about my Dad this morning and other even sillier small irritations drove me to the edge of grumpiness as the day wore on but fortunately, the positive effects of the company of these lovely people and your attentive barbecue cooking skills producing astonishingly delicious veggies and fish means that I am back home now in all together better frame of mind.  Bless you and yours.
