The price of fish

We visited our local fish shop today and listened to comments about the price of the fish,which made me think , what is the true price of the fish we buy?
Outside of the fishmongers is a small memorial to a local fisherman who was lost at sea while fishing, and looking back through the local records ,he was far from being alone.
Across fishing communities this must be a constant story ,of men going to work and sadly often not returning ,for a product we take for granted.
That is the true price of fish.
