Catbells and beyond

It seemed a lovely idea! Just a little walk up Catbells. I've done it once before!

This time however I thought I might just go a little further (next time I have that thought I think I need to remind myself how far those little squares on the map represent in actual ground travel}. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it all (well I might be) but Im not sure I'll be able to move easily tomorrow.

My journey took me as far as Dalehead Tarn (its tiny) and back down a bolder strewn sort of path and onto the valley below. In all a 10 hour day. Not all walking of course. Plenty of photos but not many good ones as the day was mostly hazy.

Good experience and glad I did it.
