Happy Birthday Felix

It's Felix's birthday today, I sent him a message and made him a little video of the beach with Happy Birthday written in pebbles. He is a grown up ( sort of ) now and doesn't need me to be there for birthdays anymore.

It was very windy today and the sea was wild , the forecast was for thunderstorms and rain .
Andy and I went in the sea, because the shallow water is so full of rocks and pebbles , we shuffled in on our bottoms so save ourselves from being thrown. We had a great time in there with the huge waves, it took us ages to get back out, in what must have looked like the most ungainly manner haha ! I'm glad I couldn't see myself.

The storm started around half six, amazing lightening all around, and the rain was absolutely chucking it down. We stood on the balcony drinking G&Ts watching it all until the horizontal rain drove us inside . We were unable to leave the apartment until nine when the rain eased off. Went to our favourite taverna and saw that tables had been moved to the back where they could be undercover. Everyone was squashed in close, but it was business as usual.
