Chain

I was drawn to the pier because I wanted to capture the 140 Optimst dingies that were out in the shafts of sunshine - they are taking part in a schools regatta here in Schull Harbour - but there was also a rare fishing boat in. I almost blipped the crew checking nets but in the end the colours of this clutch of chain hanging off the stern won. The light is so odd at the moment the sea is so turquoise everything is somehow heightened.
