Chobham Common

Today's War of the The Worlds Woking walk to Chobham and back with the FT Old Lags was a little longer than I thought - 13 miles. It was fun to catch up with the book and to read the bit where the Martian spacecraft has landed in the very Horsell sandpit that H. G Wells used for the scene.
