Hearth Guardian

Meet another one in my collection of gargoyles. This one travelled home with me all the way for Barcelona I think. Sometimes you forget when and where you acquire new companions...

Another one of my guardian gargoyles (see my first blipfoto entry on Jan 1st this year for one of the others), this wee chap sits by the fireplace. More recently he's been spending a lot of his time defending himself against marauding cats, with one wing bearing permanent scars.

Have just realised all of my gargoyles remain unnamed, except one... and he's a blip for another day...
