Shinty

I met Amy in town today for lunch at Number 10. Nice place, and a drastic improvement on the previous tenants, Route 66. The High Street was absolutely packed with campaign stands.

Afterwards, I went down to Bught Park for the Masters World Championship, the World Cup of the Highland Games world. A really disappointing turn-out considering the great weather. It just wasn't promoted well enough.

We also had shinty's Camanachd Cup Final in town today, as Glenurquhart lost 4-0 to Kingussie. There was an entry fee, but I watched from the other side of the fence instead. I've got no idea how shinty is played, so I only stopped for 10 minutes.
