Alford KT Bike run

Spent the morning pedalling around Aberdeenshire - or more accurately Alford and Strathdon on the Alford KT Bike run . All in aid of charity with the event being named after a local doctor who died of cancer .
Slightly anxious about this - especially as my brother in law ( thanks David ) suggested we enter the 29 mile event which had a " wee hill ". I was tempted by the 13 mile shorter version . Never mind - once we got going in pretty foggy conditions thoroughly enjoyed it - the cloud cleared around KIldrummy and we were treated ato fantastic views of Strathdon. Managed to get over the hill ( " The Glax " ) without making a fool of myself and we got round in a respectable 2 hours . Great fun and all for a good cause . Good to see lots of families out on their bikes and enjoyed my free sausage bap at the end of the ride .
