The September technique challenge this week includes photo-elasticity. I didn't have any idea what that was until I saw it on the challenge. Today I gave it a go.

I actually had something else in mind that involved Barbie and a knife (Hey! It was a plastic one!) but R put me off that idea. He was afraid that the police would come knocking on our door and accuse us of Barbie endangerment. LOL!

His suggestion was to do a version of the American Gothic painting by Grant Wood. So as not to infringe on any sort of trademark we have reversed the farmer and his wife. And, of course, there are other differences.
