The Oldest Rowed & Oldest Motorised Life Boats

Had a great day yesterday spent on the James Stevens Life Boat.

We left the Titchmarsh Marina around 8.30am and arrived at The Royal Harwich Yacht Club around 10.15am where we stopped for tea & coffee and picked up the oldest rowed life boat, built around 1900's.

Our job was to escort the rowers to Ipswich Marina. It was a lot of fun and took a lot of pictures en route.

This is an image of both boats moored up together at Royal Harwich. Something we might never see again.
