Not quite the aurora australis!

It really is on my bucket list to get an aurora shot but tonight and this far south might not be my destiny to get one! Was a clear night when I headed to bed though so I got up and took a shot of the night sky with some wispy clouds. best i could do - someone down the road at lake hauroko did get a shot - am pissed!
