Roof Terrace, Falmouth

We set off early this morning to drop Stan at his Mum's and pick up Jack with all his belongings to take down to Falmouth to begin his year studying at Camborne school of Mines.
It seemed strange taking him to begin a fifth year of study but he was really excited as well as abit nervous at starting a new course.

The flat, he and his girlfriend Jess are moving into was lovely - I could happily have stayed there for a year - stream at the bottom of the garden even! The roof terrace was amazing with an eclectic range of things collected by the owner - yet it wasn't just lots of bits but had quite an artistic link running through it all.

I do like Falmouth - the air was so fresh and the little streets had a really happy atmosphere with so many nautical type shops and chandleries.

Asda was heaving with new students and their families so once we had helped sort hem out, we left Jack and jess to it and stopped for a meal overlooking the marina - fish of course! We forgot to take his suits down so that's a good excuse to pop back before Christmas.
