Wedding at Dundas Castle

We celebrated the marriage of our friends L and G at their wedding today. The car belongs to G. He exported it all the way from Australia to Scotland. The bridal dress was designed and made by Mette Baillie of Freja Designer Dressmaking, a mutual friend of ours.

The wedding was fabulous. The ceremony itself was in the medieval keep, then the reception started with Champagne and canapés in the nineteenth century castle. Afterwards we enjoyed the wedding breakfast and dancing in a pavilion next to the main house. The evening ended with a spectacular firework display.

Remember the big green glug jug that I blipped on 18th August? That was our wedding present to the happy couple: every house should have one ;-) We also included a big bottle of Edinburgh Gin, glasses, and a lemon in our parcel.

Exercise today: dancing at the wedding reception
