Liverpool Central

This is usually our final stop when we go to town, although when I was working I used to go on to the next station Moorfields. It is of course possible to stay on for all stations to Southport, or change for the Kirkby and Ormskirk lines, or the Wirral line which takes you under the Mersey and as far as Chester. This is also where you could change for Lime Street, but it is quicker to walk. All the platforms at Central are underground.
It was ironic that today the Hunts Cross trains were all off because of work on the track, and I had to catch the bus.
