Splish splash

Is a fairly accurate account of today's swim. It's been ages since my last swim. Even longer since doing it in a 50m pool....oh lordy. But how nice is it to do outside!!

Waiting for the pool to open, I went to the beach for a jalk...high tide was bigger then usual (dare say that last full moon is responsible) which made the sand very hard going. A few near trips from my feet sinking so far in. I managed 1.5km on the sand & just under that in the pool...

Swimming makes me super hungry. Next time, I won't go grocery shopping after swimming unless I've had a snack...
