Makeover

This is what our house looks like now - we have been under renovation while we were away on our trip and have had new vinyl siding and shutters installed. We are very happy with the look - it used to be white with black shutters and needed to be painted every year. This will save us a lot of time and save Mr M from having to climb the high ladders necessary to paint near the top.

We're having a beautiful sunny day, a little chillier, but still lovely. We picked Riley up from the kennel this morning and let's just say he was quite happy to see us. The cats are also sticking close to us - we had a friend stop by every day to make sure they were fed, but they don't warm up quickly to strangers so they are happy to see familiar faces. It's good to be home, but now there is a lot of laundry to do. And it's back to work tomorrow.

I will fill in September 12 and 13 in a few days - my photos are downloaded on my sister's computer, so I have to wait until she can transfer them to me.
