With the Beatles

Up around 12:30 and rushed to the local to watch the Newcastle game, which turned out to have commentary in Italian and also be an appalling game and a waste of time.

Me and Jen then went to the Milkhope centre, a kind of farmers/local stuff mini shopping centre out in the countryside. Got plenty stuff to go and cook a five dish curry for Jen's parent and hten setteld down to various versions of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, The Beatles version being the most prominent.

Too much beer in the late afternoon and too much wine after dinner led to much hilarity, especially seeing who could sing 'We Are The Champions' and score highest, Ian being the surprising winner just pipping Jen at the post.

I got my birthday presents from the in-laws too, two copies of a book called 'Photographic Possibilities' the second edition, which was the one I was after, and the third edition (which was ordered by mistake I think) which turned out to be such an updated and revised edition it was very much worth keeping both of them. The older one with al its lovely formulas and processing information can stay in my locker at the darkrooms and the newer one can stay near the computer as part of the new addition to it is a lot of computer related information.
