Llama Kerfuffle: Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting!

We were returning from an afternoon's outdoor adventure, when we drove past the llama farm not far from our house. Most of the llamas were gamboling about, peacefully enjoying the day, snacking on fresh green grasses and hay.

However, two of the llamas were really duking it out! Kicks and bites were exchanged, and . . . well, such language that was used . . . their mothers would have washed their mouths out with soap!

You can't always tell, in the animal world, whether this type of exchange represented fisticuffs (or perhaps llama-cuffs) between two creatures with genuine animosity toward each other, or whether it was a prelude to . . . you know . . . romantic entanglements. And indeed, I was not sure myself.

The kerfuffle was over in just a few minutes, but the action was fierce and hot while it lasted. Nearby, two other llamas looked on with some level of interest. No doubt, they were saying something like, "Sheesh! They're at it again! Can't a body get some peace around here?!"

Everybody was Kung Fu fighting
Those kicks were fast as lightning
In fact, it was a little bit frightening
But they fought with expert timing

The soundtrack: Carl Douglas, with Kung Fu Fighting.
